12. Barra Beach, Scotland
The Barra Beach is located in a village named Castlebay and boasts of 60 sq mi of white sandy stretches, making it a Mecca for beach lovers. The landscape of the beach is a mix between smooth sandy terrain and inlets made of rocks. Most come here to revel in the glorious beauty of the beach and the rich historical heritage of the village. Barra Beach is probably one of a kind since it houses an airport that is built right in the shallow bay.
