45. Brussels Townhall, Belgium
The Brussels Townhall is one of Belgium’s finest civic buildings and is definitely a must visit if you happen to be in this European country. Thousands of tourists would flock to this site to witness the numerous sculptures that adorn its walls and to marvel at the beauty of its tower where the spire is topped by a statue of Saint Michael, the archangel. The town hall is a magnificent Gothic edifice that was built in the spring of 1402 and features a collection of ancient guilds and paintings inside.
