44. Canals of Venice
The beautiful canals of Venice is a must visit if you happen to be in Venice, Italy. The canal forms one of the major water traffic corridors in the city where public transport is provided through water buses as well as private water taxis. Tourists who want a more romantic way of exploring the Grand Canal would take the gondola rides while being serenaded by the gondoliers. One end of the canal leads to a lagoon near the Santa Lucia railway station while the other end leads to Saint Mark Basin. The canal is surrounded with beautiful structures inspired by the Venetian Gothic architecture.
