55. Kerid Crater Lake, Iceland
Kerid Crater Lake in Iceland is a popular tourist destination in the country. The crater was formed more than 6,000 years ago and is the northern end of several rows of craters called the Grímsnes and the Tjarnarhólar. The crater is round shaped and is about 270 meters long, 170 meters wide and 55 meters deep. Some tourists who would come to visit the site would take a short hike up the rim of the crater and walk around the rim then hike down to the water. It is famous for its beautiful red and pink colored walls and stunning turquoise water.
