30. Meteora in Greece

The Metéora is where you will find the magnificent looking Holy Monastery of Rousanou. The complexes are perched up the rock pillars and looking at it from afar seems like the structure is floating in the air. It is definitely a spectacular sight and is a must visit when you happen to be in Greece. The Meteora is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List and each of the monastery is said to have fewer than 10 inhabitants. Right now, the monasteries are a popular attraction in Europe and is located in Thessaly, Greece.
