4. The Colosseum in Rome
The Colosseum is one of the most popular attractions in Europe. It is an elliptical shaped amphitheater that was constructed under emperor Vespasian during the 70 AD. Further modifications were made during the Domitian reign. Today, the Colosseum is now a major tourist attraction and tourists from all over the world would flock to Rome just to witness the extraordinary view of the arena.
