5. Tongariro national Park
New Zealand’s oldest national park is famous for its heterogeneous mix of topography comprising of peaceful lakes, volcanic mountains, wild forests, plateaus etc. A good way to see it all is by trekking through the park which will help you to experience the diverse topography for yourself. There are 3 volcanoes situated within the park which are a must visit.
