2. Cotopaxi
Cotopaxi, with a height of 5,897 m (19,347 ft) is the second highest summit in Ecuador and has few of the equatorial glaciers in the world which starts at a height of 5,000 meters (16,400 ft). The volcano is visible from the capital city, Quito and this is also one of the highest active volcanoes in the world.
