15. Aletsch Glacier
The Aletsch Glacier is also one of the best places to visit in Switzerland, especially if you consider yourself a Swiss Alps aficionado. The Aletsch glacier is the longest and perhaps the most beautiful glacier in the Swiss Alps. It is about 23 kilometers long and is among the easiest Alps to access. The glacier is the first ever UNESCO World Heritage site and is located in the western and southern part of Switzerland, right in within the Aletsch region.
